Meet with Your Realtor
Discuss your housing needs, desired location, “must haves”, preferences, the process and what to expect in the search for your new home.
Obtain Loan Pre-Approval with a Lender
Review the amount of funds available for your Down Payment, your Income, and your Obligations to determine your Sales Price Range for your new home.
Search and View Homes
Receive daily search results, adjust as needed, and view homes in person with your Realtor, your “Buyers Agent”
Submit an Offer on your Future Home
With guidance from your Buyers Agent, discuss comparable sales in the same building, subdivision or zip code, review condition, and strategize on how to submit the best possible offer for your new home. Goal – Negotiate as needed and Seller accepts your Offer!
Inspections and Processing
Next, your Realtor will assist in scheduling any Home Inspections and providing all necessary documents to your Lender, Settlement Company, and Insurance Agent to ensure that you efficiently move toward the next stage.
Settlement and Move-In Day
Usually, on the day you are purchasing your new home, there is a final walkthrough of the property and then you will meet at the Settlement Company to sign your loan documents and transfer the home ownership to you!! You receive keys and can move into your new house at your convenience!
